Spain’s 17-year-old winger has had an outstanding tournament
Goal by the national team winger Spain Lamine Yamal in the semi-final match against France (2:1) was recognized as the best on Euro 2024.
Second place went to Jude Bellingham’s goal against Slovakia (2:1) in the 1/8 finals match, third place went to Xherdan Shaqiri, who scored a fantastic goal against Scotland (1:1).
In total, Yamal played seven matches at the tournament, scoring one goal and four assists.
Yamal also became the youngest player in history to win the European Championship. Spain won the European Championship for the fourth time and became the absolute record holder of the continent in this indicator. Germany was left behind with three victories. Italy and France have two triumphs each.
