Kyivians added two summer newcomers to their UPL roster
Dynamo added a defender Brian Ceballos and a midfielder Valentina Rubchinskiy V UPL.
Ceballos moved to Dynamo from Brazilian Fortaleza on loan until the end of 2024. Rubchinskiy moved to Dynamo from Dnipro-1, signing a four-year contract with the Kiev team.
Dynamo, together with Ceballos and Rubchinskiy, are currently at a training camp in Austria. Yesterday, in a friendly match, the Kievans defeated the Danish Brondby (4:0). As part of the training camp, the Kievans will hold a number of friendlies. In particular, there are agreements with the South African Mamelodi Sundowns and the Berlin Union.
Dynamo finished second in the UPL in the 2023/24 season. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team will play Serbian Partizan in the second round of the Champions League qualification. Tickets for the first, “home” match for the Kyiv team, which will take place on July 23 in Lublin, are already on sale.
Shovkovsky’s team was supposed to start the new UPL season on the first weekend of August, but its away match against Oleksandria was postponed due to the call-up of players from both clubs to the Ukrainian Olympic team.
