English midfielder Jude Bellingham believes that Gareth Southgate is one of the best coaches in the history of the national team.
Southgate left the England squad on Tuesday. Earlier, the British team lost to Spain in the final match of the 2024 European Football Championship (1:2).
– Thank you for everything. It was an honour to play under such a good and dedicated man. “I am sure Gareth is one of the best coaches in the history of the national team,” Bellingham wrote on his social networks.
Southgate has been in charge of England since 2016. Under his leadership, the team won silver medals at EURO 2020.
