Besiktas agree deal for Milan defender Ballo-Ture

The player is waiting for offers from Premier League clubs

Besiktas agreed on the transfer of the defender Milana Fode Ballot Toure.

There is still no agreement with the player, as Fode is counting on offers from Premier League clubs. Milan, in addition to parting with the defender, is also ready for the departure of forward Divock Origi.

Fode’s contract with the Rossoneri runs until the summer of 2025. The defender joined the Italian team in July 2021 from Monaco. The Senegalese spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Fulham — eight matches (224 minutes) in all tournaments.

Milan finished second in Serie A. The team’s new coach was former Shakhtar manager Paulo Fonseca.

Besiktas have strengthened their ranks this transfer window with former Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista and Benfica striker Rafa Silva.

Another incoming transfer was former Lazio forward Ciro Immobile, while Besiktas invited Dutch specialist Giovanni van Bronckhorst to take over as head coach.

Besiktas finished only sixth in the last Turkish championship. However, the Istanbul club won the national cup, which allowed it to qualify for the Europa League for next season.
