Yoro played 44 matches for Lille in all competitions last season, scoring three goals. In March, the defender made his debut for the France U-23 team.
Lille, managed by former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca, who moved to Milan in the summer, finished fourth in Ligue 1. Manchester United finished eighth in the 2023/24 Premier League, but partly rehabilitated themselves for their unsuccessful season with a victory in the FA Cup over their fellow countrymen from Man City, which gave the Red Devils a pass to the Europa League.
