Athletistic / Football. Former Spartak Moscow defender Samuel Gigot is to leave Marseille. The 30-year-old Frenchman is not in the plans of the Provençaux’s new coach, Roberto De Zerbi.
According to L’Equipe, Zhigot has been suspended by Marseille from the general group training. This happened in the context of the fact that the French club agreed to sell the defender to Trabzonspor, while Samuel does not want to move to Turkey.
Samuel Gigot was a Spartak player from 2018 to 2022. Within the red and white team, he played 110 matches and scored 10 goals. His contract with Marseille runs until June 30, 2025. The Transfermarkt portal estimates Gigot’s market value at 9 million euros.
