After Roger Machado’s departure, Juventude announces Jair Ventura

The coach, who was fired from Atlético-GO in June this year, arrives for his second stint at the green and white team from Rio Grande do Sul

After days of speculation and negotiations, the Youth announced the departure of the coach Roger Machado from the main team command to the International. With the position vacant, the Jaconeira team has already managed to place Jair Ventura in charge.

The coach, who was fired from Atletico-GO in June of this year, he arrives for his second stint at the green and white team from Rio Grande do Sul. Last time, he led the team for 11 matches, with five victories and, thus, their permanence in the Série A. Brazilian Championship. With the poor performance in the Gaucho ChampionshipVentura was fired early the following year.

In addition to Juventude, the coach has already been in charge of Botafogohis first job as a professional, Chapecoense, Sport, Saints, Goias etc. In his last job, he played 50 games for Atlético-GO, with 31 wins, seven draws and 12 defeats.

The coach will start his second stint next Sunday, against São Pauloat the Mane Garrincha.
