Napoli and PSG face tough talks over Nigerian forward’s transfer fee
Attack Napoli Victor Osimhen gave his consent to the transition to PSG.
The Nigerian’s representatives are reportedly working out the details of his personal contract with PSG. At the same time, the clubs themselves are facing difficult negotiations on the player’s transfer amount, as his release clause at Napoli is 130 million euros.
Earlier, Arsenal and Chelsea showed interest in Viktor, with the latter considering the option of exchanging him for Mikhail Mudryk.
In December 2023, Napoli officially announced the extension of Osimhen’s contract. The Nigerian’s new agreement runs until June 30, 2026.
Osimhen scored 17 goals and made four assists in 32 games for the Napoli team in the 2023/24 season.
Napoli finished the season in 10th place in the Serie A standings. PSG won Ligue 1 and the French Cup, but were left without Kylian Mbappe, who moved to Real Madrid.
