The player’s new agreement with the club runs until the summer of 2025
Real announced the extension of the contract with the defender Lucas Vasquez.
The 33-year-old player’s new deal with Blancos runs until the summer of 2025.
Vazquez is a Real Madrid product and has spent almost his entire senior career in Madrid (except for a loan to Espanyol in the 2014/15 season).
With Real, Vazquez won the Spanish Championship four times, the Champions League five times, the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup three times each, and also won one Spanish Cup.
Last season, Vazquez played 39 matches for Real in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
Yesterday, Real also announced a contract extension with midfielder Luka Modric.
Real Madrid became the champion of Spain and the winner of the Champions League at the end of the season. In the first round of the new Primera, the team of Ukrainian Andriy Lunin will play Mallorca.
