Athletistic / Football. Tottenham Hotspur head coach Angelos Postecoglou has commented on the news of his imminent appointment as England national team coach.
“Tottenham are currently in pre-season and I am the manager of this club. I am not thinking about anything else at the moment. Tottenham and their success is the only thing I am focused on.
“I had a nap after lunch so I missed all the rumours. I don’t even know what they wrote in the media,” Postecoglou said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Angelos Postecoglou has taken over as Tottenham manager ahead of the 2023/24 season. Under his leadership, Spurs finished fifth in the last Premier League.
The England national team was coached by Gareth Southgate from 2016 to 2024. After losing the Euro 2024 final to Spain (1-2), he resigned.
