Internacional goalkeeper Rochet was honest about the setback suffered against Rosario Central in the Copa Sudamericana playoffs; check out what he said
Rochet got into a fight with the players International after defeat in the playoffs from the South American Cup. Colorado lost 1-0 against Rosario Centralin the first leg, away from home, and came out at a disadvantage in the continental final. For the Uruguayan goalkeeper, the team from Rio Grande do Sul has been guilty of mistakes amid the crisis fueled by the absence of a permanent coach.
“I was watching what was happening with Inter, obviously from a distance, what happened with Chacho always hurts, reaching this point of leaving the team, we felt the blow. But our team was working very well, we were watching the games, but they are making mistakes that we are paying dearly for, we were inattentive today and we conceded a goal that was under control”admitted Rochet.
“We have to be self-critical. When I arrived, it came out Bro and Chacho arrived. Now it’s Pablo. We need to be self-critical. We have a lot of responsibilities. We have to show our faces and face up to them. It’s not good, because when the coach is changed, it’s because the team isn’t doing well. I’m confident that we can turn things around. I’m happy to be back. I wanted to go back to Inter and turn things around.”
