Vladislav Vanat and Samba Diallo scored for the Kiev team
Dynamo lost Union Berlin in a friendly match at a training camp in Austria – 2:3.
The German club opened the scoring in the first half, Benedikt Hollerbach converted a penalty. The Kievans managed to equalize before the break, Vladislav Vanat scored.
In the second half, Union took the lead again, with Chris Bedia scoring. Towards the end of the match, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s men bounced back again thanks to a goal by Samba Diallo. However, already in stoppage time, the Germans took advantage of a mistake by the Kiev defenders and managed to snatch victory.
Earlier, Dynamo drew with Schalke (2:2) and Paderborn (0:0) at the training camp. This was followed by victories over Brondby (4:0) and Mamelodi Sundowns (1:0).
Dynamo finished second in the UPL in the 2023/24 season. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team will play Serbian Partizan in the second round of the Champions League qualification. The first match will take place on July 23.
