Representatives of artistic gymnastics have left for Paris
The first group of Ukrainian athletes set off for Olympic Games 2024.
Representatives left the railway station in Kyiv Ukrainian national artistic gymnastics team — Oleg Vernyaev, Nazar Chepurny, Radomir Stelmakh and Anna Lashchevskaya. The athletes are accompanied by coaches Gennady Sartinsky, Yulia Kayukova and massage therapist Alexey Lavrovsky.
Our country will be represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports. This is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
Ukraine is sending the largest number of athletes to track and field — 25 athletes. For the first time, the blue and yellow will compete in breaking and rock climbing at the Games.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
