Red Devils continue talks with PSG
Manchester United agreed on personal terms of contract with PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
Other details of the deal are still being discussed. Ugarte is ready to move to Man Utd even without the opportunity to play in the Champions League. Negotiations are also ongoing between the Red Devils and PSG. Other clubs are also reportedly interested in Manuel.
It should be noted that Ugarte’s affairs are being handled by the well-known agent Jorge Mendes. Earlier, Manchester United completed a deal for another Mendes client, Leni Yoro.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan joined PSG from Sporting last summer. The Lisbon club received 60 million euros for his transfer.
In the 2023/24 season, the midfielder played 37 matches for PSG in all competitions, scoring three assists. Ugarte and the Uruguayan national team took third place in the 2024 Copa America.
Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup. The Red Devils will host Fulham in the first round of the new season on August 16.
