Mikautadzetop scorer of the last European Championship with three goals, was announced by Lyon this Thursday as a new reinforcement for the 2024-25 season. The player signed with the team John Textoralso owner of SAF do Botafogo, for four seasons. The Metzthe player’s former club, will receive 18.5 million euros for his transfer, another 4.5 million in bonuses and a potential incentive of 1 million euros. In addition, a future sale will guarantee the club a 15% capital gain.

The player almost transferred to Monacoanother French team. However, when the offer from the Lyon team came, he preferred to return to the team in his hometown. Mikautadze played in the youth team The Gone between 2008 and 2015. However, his professional debut was only in 2019, at Metz. Last season, the striker was his team’s top scorer in Ligue 1.
O Ajax even bought him in 2023, but Metz brought the player back in January of this year.
