This Thursday, the 18th, theManchester City announced the hiring of Savinhostriker who was in the Girona and who competed in the Copa America for the Brazilian Team. At 20 years old, the player revealed by Atletico-MG signed a contract with the Citizens until the end of 2029.
Savinho played last season for Girona, a club where he stood out and was one of the main players in the squad that put the modest Spanish club in the Champions League. Thus, as the team is part of the City Group, Manchester City agreed to sign him at the beginning of the year, for the amount of 25 million euros, around R$ 152 million, but the deal could reach 40 million euros, R$ 243 million, with all the bonuses involved.
In an interview with Manchester City’s official channels, Savinho has already participated in several content and spoke about his expectations of making his debut for the English club. “I can’t wait to work with Pep Guardiolaone of the greatest coaches of all time, and someone who I know will help me improve even more”said the Brazilian.
Atlético-MG will receive part of the amount invested by Manchester City, as it is the club that trained the striker and holds 12.5% of his economic rights. If the negotiation reaches the maximum value, Galo could pay almost R$30 million for the transaction.
