The Spanish forward has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until the summer of 2028
Milan announced the transfer of the forward Atlético Alvaro Morata.
Morata signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028. It was previously reported that the striker’s salary in Milan would be around 5 million euros per season, and Atletico’s buyout clause for him would be 13 million euros.
Alvaro Morata captained Spain to victory at Euro 2024. The striker played in all seven matches of the tournament, scoring one goal.
Morata, 31, played 48 matches for Atletico last season, scoring 21 goals and making five assists. The Colchoneros finished fourth in the championship, behind Real, Barcelona and Girona.
Milan finished second in Serie A. Former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca was appointed as the team’s new head coach.
