Sergey Lavrinenko and Bogdan Shust will assist Lupashko
Carpathians announced the appointment Vladislava Lupashko for the post of head coach.
The position of senior coach of the main team will be held by Sergei Lavrinenko, Bogdan Shust has been appointed as the goalkeeper coach.
Let us recall that this off-season Lupashko was appointed to the Karpaty U-19 team, but after yesterday’s departure from the post of head coach of the main team Myron Markevich, he was expectedly promoted.
Last season, Lupashko coached Ingulets, which won the First League, beating Karpaty in the last round. Shust worked as a goalkeeper coach in his staff, and Lavrinenko headed Veres in the first part of last season. Lavrinenko and Lupashko had previously crossed paths during their work together in Ingulets.
This off-season, Karpaty have already announced the transfers of Minaj goalkeeper Alexander Kemkin, Bulgarian Cherno More midfielder Pablo Alvarez, and Chernomorets midfielder Orest Kuzyk. The Lviv club also signed three Dnipro-1 players: defenders Vladimir Adamyuk and Denis Miroshnichenko, as well as midfielder Maksym Melnichenko. Another completed transfer is the transfer of Cruzeiro winger Stenio.
Karpaty have been promoted to a higher class following the results of last season and will play in the UPL. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, the Lions will meet Veres on August 3. The match starts at 15:30.
