Yoka played professionally for the RCM club from the Second League of the Republic of Congo. Jerry managed to score a goal in a friendly match with Polesie-2.
Poliesie has already signed Bosnian striker Admir Bristrich and defender Sergey Korniychuk this off-season. The Zhytomyr club has been strengthened by centerback Oleksiy Avramenko and has leased Brazilian forward Paixao.
The Zhytomyr club also gained new recruits: goalkeeper Yevhen Volynets, midfielders Ruslan Babenko and Oleksiy Gutsulyak, defenders Matej Matic, Joao Vialle, Georgi Maisuradze and Eduard Sarapiy.
Another newcomer to the team was defender Daniil Beskorovayny, but already during the summer training camp the centerback damaged the cruciate ligaments of his knee.
Polesie is preparing for a historic season, which will begin with a clash with Slovenian Olimpija in the second qualifying round of the Conference League (away on July 25, at home on August 1). Polesie will play its home matches of the European Cups in Gliwice, Poland.
