Last season, Borja became German champion with Bayer
Celta announced the loan of the striker Betis Borja Iglesias.
The lease agreement runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 31-year-old forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Bayer, where he won the Bundesliga and the German Cup with Leverkusen. In total, Iglesias played 10 matches for the Pharmaceuticals, without scoring or making any assists.
Borja Iglesias also has two appearances for the Spanish national team.
Celta finished 13th in the last La Liga. The Galicians will begin the new season on August 16 with a home match against Alaves.
