The alternative for the Ukrainian is to extend his contract with Blancos
Real Madrid still expects to sell Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin this summer. The likelihood of the Ukrainian leaving is considered high.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is also waiting for a solution to the situation with Lunin. The Spaniard wants to return to Real. Earlier it was reported that Kepa could become part of the deal for Andrey’s transfer to Chelsea.
It was previously reported that Blancos did not intend to sell Lunin to Atletico for less than 30-35 million euros. The mattress makers, in turn, were ready to pay 15-18 million euros.
Representatives of Atletico, Betis, Juventus, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Newcastle also contacted Real. The latter two were reportedly ready to pay 25 million euros for the Ukrainian. Manchester City is also considering the Ukrainian as an alternative to Ederson. Another contender for Andrey is Liverpool.
Recently, information emerged that the Ukrainian will hold a repeat meeting with representatives of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund to sort out employment offers. Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad allegedly showed interest in Lunin. However, according to Sport Arena, Andrey is not interested in moving to Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid became the champion of Spain and the winner of the Champions League at the end of the season. In the first round of the new Primera, Lunin’s team will play Mallorca.
