It was previously reported that the Belgian is close to Al-Ittihad
Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will not leave Manchester city this summer.
City coach Pep Guardiola will say that Kevin “definitely won’t leave the team.” The City boss also believes that the team’s roster will remain 85-90% the same as last season.
Earlier it was reported that Al-Ittihad had reached a verbal agreement with Kevin De Bruyne. The player agreed to the transfer, and the Citizens were also allegedly ready to let the Belgian go.
In May, it was reported that the Saudi Arabian club was preparing a generous offer for De Bruyne, whose contract with the Citizens runs until the summer of 2025.
Kevin turned 33 at the end of June. He missed a significant part of last season due to injury, but since January he has managed to play 26 matches at the club level, scoring six goals and making 18 assists.
De Bruyne played without substitutions in all four matches of the Belgian national team at Euro 2024. He scored a goal against Romania (2:0) and was recognized as the best player of this match. In three other matches, including with Ukraine (0:0), Belgium did not score.
