Athletistic / Football. Adjam Kuzyaev, the father of Le Havre midfielder Daler Kuzyaev, said that the management of the French club is satisfied with his son’s play. According to him, it is not profitable for Le Havre to part ways with the 31-year-old Russian.
“Everything is fine with us! Daler was welcomed very warmly by the players and the management of Le Havre. The fans came to the football, there was an autograph session, now the club has a new head coach, but him. He is a competent specialist who works with the ball, everything is fine. So far, Le Havre has not started negotiations with my son on a new contract, but we still have one year left on the old agreement.
“We are not thinking about it now. Le Havre’s sporting director said that the club was satisfied with Daler’s work last season, so in the current situation it is not beneficial for them for Kuzyaev to leave. Daler is determined to play for Le Havre,” Kuzyaev Sr. was quoted as saying by TASS.
Daler Kuzyaev became a Le Havre player in July 2023. In the 2023/2024 season, the Russian made 33 appearances for the French club in all tournaments, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. Transfermarkt portal estimates Kuzyaev’s market value at €8 million.
