Serie A newcomer continues to work on the transfer market
Serie A Newcomer Como announced the transfer of the Olympic team winger Iraq Ali Jassim.
Como signed a three-year contract with the 20-year-old player.
Ali Jassim made his debut in the Iraqi Premier League at the age of 14. Before joining Como, he played for Iraqi team Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya at club level.
Ali Jassim also has the title of top scorer at the Asian Cup among players under 23 years old.
Now, together with the Iraqi Olympic team, Ali Jassim is competing at the 2024 Games in Paris, where yesterday his precise strike brought victory to his team over Ukraine (2:1).
Como entered Serie A following the Italian second division championship. Larijani will play in the elite for the first time since the 2002/03 season.
In the new season, the team will be headed by Cesc Fabregas, who, along with Thierry Henry, is on the list of shareholders of the club. Experienced forward Andrea Belotti has signed a full-fledged contract with Como, and defender Raphael Varane is close to joining the club. Como also signed former Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno and highly experienced former Villarreal goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
