Kiev’s opponent will be determined in the Epicenter – Minai match
Left Coast beat Metalist 1925 in the semi-finals of the “tournament of four” for the vacant place in Ukrainian Premier League — 1:1, 5:4 on penalties.
In the first half, Viktor Skripnik’s team dominated. Metalist 1925 missed several chances to open the scoring, but conceded at the end of the half. Vladislav Voitsehovsky scored after a pass from Nikolai Kogut.
The left bank continued to hold back the opponent in the second half. Vitaly Pervak’s team was one step away from victory, but already in the extra time Vasily Kravets equalized the score.
In the penalty shootout, the Left Bank players were more accurate. The first four performers from each team realized their attempts. Then Ari Moura hit the post, while Oleg Sokolov put an end to the series.
Later, the second semi-final between Epicenter and Minaj will take place. The start is at 18:00. The winners of today’s matches will play in the final match, which is scheduled for July 30. The nominal host of the final will be Left Bank.
