Yegor Yarmolyuk is part of the English team
As Sport Arena learned, the Ukrainian forward Bruges Roman Yaremchuk can continue his career in EPL.
We are talking about Brentford, the team where Ukrainian Yegor Yarmolyuk plays (30 matches last season). The English club intends to lease Yaremchuk without a buyout option.
Yaremchuk played last season on loan for Valencia, but on July 1, after the end of the season, he returned to Brugge. Trabzonspor had already shown interest in the forward, ready to pay 8 million euros for the Ukrainian forward, and to significantly increase Roman’s salary, but the Turkish club’s offer was rejected.
Earlier, it was also reported that French Brest and Italian Bologna were interested in Yaremchuk. However, Roman was not included in the list of club players to participate in pre-season training in the Netherlands.
Yaremchuk himself would like to continue his performances in Valencia, however, due to the forward’s high salary (4 million euros per season), this option is unrealistic, and Valencia itself is ready to rely on the younger Rafa Mir in the attack.
Yaremchuk has a contract with Brugge until 2026. The Ukrainian spent the past season on loan at Valencia. Roman played 29 matches for the Spanish club, scoring four goals.
Brentford are 16th in the 2023/24 Premier League and will host Crystal Palace in their opening fixture of the season on August 18.
