Ukrainian athletes have a chance to get through the repechage races on July 29
Ukrainian rowers Igor Khmara And Stanislav Kovalev did not make it to the semi-finals in academic rowing on light doubles Olympics 2024 in Paris.
The Ukrainians finished fourth in their 2,000-meter swim. Having lost their chances of breaking into the top two after halfway through the race, Khmara and Kovalev slowed down to conserve their strength. They finished the race in 7 minutes and 0.13 seconds.
Igor and Stanislav still have a chance to get to the semi-finals through the consolation heats. The competition will continue on July 29.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
