Athletistic will broadcast live online text: Football. RPL. “Khimki” – “Spartak”. Live
“Spartak” at the beginning of the new RPL season is a major failure based on expectations and reality. The new coach Dejan Stankovic, with extensive international experience, but only as a player, was in stark contrast to Guillermo Abascal, who lacked experience in all areas and therefore received his share of criticism. But great players do not always make good coaches, and there are other examples when top coaches become those who actually had no professional career as a player. Therefore, coach Stankovic has not achieved anything yet, if we do not take the rather weak championships of Serbia and Hungary. And his goal is an experiment.
But for Spartak, which has not found its game for a long time and has problems both on the field and in the office, this is not the best time to experiment. Nevertheless, an experienced coach would be a better option than the novice Stankovic, who may not succeed in conditions of total pressure, public attention and no room for error. He found himself in a problematic club and has not yet gotten used to it, he does not understand how to play in Russia, he does not know his opponents. That is why there were tactical mistakes in the match against Orenburg, thanks to which the opponent dominated and won the trial. The first round is a failure, the next one will be Khimki and the match with Dynamo for the Cup, in which Spartak will not be the favorite.
Khimki returned to the RPL after a season in the Premier League and started with a draw with another newcomer, Dynamo Makhachkala. Of course, the Khimki team will be outsiders, but it cannot be said that Spartak will definitely take 3 points today.
