These Are the Strange, Dark Sounds Planets Make in Space, NASA Says

What does a black hole sound like? Or Saturn? The space agency NASA has managed to transform the waves of planets and space phenomena into curious and frightening sounds. This is how they sound.

Have you ever wondered what the vastness of the world looks like? space ? This place, about which we know little, conceals infinite mysteries, among which are the sounds that can come from it. And human studies explain that since it is an empty environment, it is impossible for sound waves to travel, so it would be almost impossible to hear a “sound from space” as such.

However, so little is known about these areas that “almost impossible” becomes relevant. That is why there JAR has a project that manages to transform information that comes, for example, from planets or other phenomena occurring in space, and transforms them into audio.

In this way, the space agency managed to show humanity what different celestial bodies look like.

What do different planets sound like in space?

According to the Spanish newspaper AS 20 years ago, the Chandra Observatory NASA has made a strange discovery: A black hole, located more than 250 million light-years from Earth, has begun emitting a wave pattern.

These could not be heard by the human ear, but the space agency managed to recreate them. And the sound turned out to be disturbing.

Based on this experience, NASA began translating some planets into sounds. For example, The Cassini probe captured Saturn’s plasma waves.

This was also the case with Jupiter’s moon Ganymede when the Juno probe flew past the planet in 2021. They managed to capture the frequencies that, at one point in the recording, were interrupted by the arrival of a ship. They thus managed to capture the “roar” of Jupiter.

And finally, although Mars continues to be one of the most sought-after destinations for humans, NASA’s Curiosity has managed to capture the sound of wind in the area.

This is what the red planet looks like.
