Viktor Panchenko – about ending up in intensive care: “I am at a great age, we will fight again”

Civil servant and football agent Victor Panchenko spoke about his physical condition after being admitted to intensive care.

Earlier, former Dynamo Moscow sports director Roman Oreshchuk told that Panchenko was in intensive care and had undergone two leg surgeries. Later, Panchenko himself told that he had been transferred from intensive care to the general ward.

“I have already been discharged from the hospital and sent home. I underwent four operations under general anesthesia on my lower leg, the fluid was pumped out and stitches were put in. There were also a lot of IVs. Now everything is fine, I am at home, and tomorrow is the last visit to the doctor, the stitches need to be removed. After that, there will be a rehabilitation course, but at home. I am at an excellent age, so we will fight again,” Panchenko quotes Sport24.

Panchenko is 61 years old, he played for Lokomotiv Moscow, Metallurg Lipetsk, KAMAZ Chelny and other teams. In 1993 he became the top scorer of the Russian Championship. His son Kirill plays for Khimki near Moscow.
