The forward of the Ukrainian national team personally spoke with the head coach of the team before the transfer.

Roman Yaremchuk chose Olympiacos to continue his football career because of the personal interest of the team’s head coach. The forward of the Ukrainian national team spoke about it himself.

The footballer also admitted that he knows a lot about the team from Piraeus and expressed his joy at the move to the Greek club.

“I’m very happy to be here. Olympiacos is a great club that is known throughout Europe. It’s a great project with great technical staff, coaches. I hope this is the right choice in my career. I have a good feeling.

I know this is the greatest club in Greece, having won the Conference League last season. Talented football players continue to perform at Olympiacos. In the first days I thought about the offer, but after a conversation with the head coach I quickly made a decision – here I am today.

The fans expect goals and titles from me. I don’t want to say too much and say that I will do it for sure. But I want to bring them joy and I will give my 100% to make the fans happy,” Yaremchuk was quoted as saying by the official website of Olympiacos.

We remind you that Olympiacos previously announced the signing of a contract with Roman Yaremchuk.
