Lviv residents continue to assemble their team before the start of the UPL
Carpathians announced the transfer of the defender Curitiba Jean Pedroso.
The terms of the 20-year-old player’s contract with the Lviv club have not been disclosed.
Pedroso is a product of Curitiba, for whose main team he played a total of seven matches in the Brazilian Serie A. The player also has experience playing for the Brazilian U-20 youth team, for which he played seven matches.
This offseason, Karpaty have already announced the transfers of Minaj goalkeeper Alexander Kemkin, Bulgarian Cherno More midfielder Pablo Alvarez, and Chernomorets midfielder Orest Kuzyk. The Lviv club also signed three Dnipro-1 players — defenders Volodymyr Adamyuk and Denis Miroshnichenko, and midfielder Maksym Melnichenko. From Brazilian Cruzeiro, the Lviv team signed winger Stenio, and also permanently signed Shakhtar defender Andriy Buleza, who previously played for Karpaty on loan.
Let us recall that Karpaty moved up a class under the leadership of Myron Markevych, taking second place in the First League. On July 18, the experienced coach left his post, and Vladislav Lupashko became his successor. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, the Lions will meet Veres on August 3. The match starts at 15:30.
