Both players were injured in the friendly against Arsenal
Two players Manchester United were injured in their team’s friendly match against Arsenal (1:2) – we are talking about the defender Leni Yoro and forward Rasmus Hoylund.
Joro, who joined United from Lille for €62 million this summer, has been ruled out for three months with a foot injury, while Rasmus Hojlund has suffered a hamstring strain that has kept him out for six weeks.
The injuries are said to be likely to force United to re-enter the transfer market in search of a centre-back and forward.
Manchester United will play another friendly match during their pre-season tour of the United States – on August 4, Erik ten Hag’s team will play Liverpool. The new season will officially open on August 10, when they will play Manchester City in the FA Community Shield.
