University of California AlbinoLeffe reports that he has acquired the footballer’s sporting achievements Mattia MustacchioForward, born in 1989.
Born in Chiari (BS), Mustacchio grew up in the youth sector of Brescia before moving to Sampdoria in January 2008. With the Blucerchiati Primavera he won the Coppa Italia, Scudetto and Supercoppa before making his Serie A debut (5 matches in the 2008/09 season). The Genoa run was just the first stage of an important professional career in which he played a total of 276 matches in Serie B in the shirts of Ancona, Varese, Vicenza, Pro Vercelli, Perugia, Carpi and Crotone (with whom he won promotion to Serie A) and 142 matches in Serie C with Ascoli, LR Vicenza, Alessandria, Cesena and Pro Vercelli.
He also played 10 matches and scored 5 goals for the U20 national team, making him the main hero of the 2009 World Cup, and 8 matches and 1 goal for the U21 national team.
