Goalkeeper Veresa Arseniy Korkodym decided to put his career on hold on the advice of doctors.
This decision was made after an in-depth medical examination of the 21-year-old footballer in two Kyiv clinics. The club expressed support to Arseniy, wishing him a quick and complete recovery.
Korkodym is a Kyiv native who began his career in the Volyn structure and became a Veres player in the summer of 2022. He has not yet made his debut for the first team from Rivne. In the second half of the 2023/24 season, Arseniy played on loan for Kremin – 10 matches, 8 goals conceded, five “clean sheets”.
In the fall of 2023, Korkodym became the vice-champion of the world as part of the Ukrainian student team.
Veres will open the new UPL season with a match against Karpaty. The home match of the first round for Rivne will take place on Saturday, August 3. The start is at 15:30.
