Ukrainian athletes will compete for medals in four disciplines
Today, August 3rd, on Olympic Games 2024 31 sets of medals will be awarded in 15 sports in Paris.
Ukrainian athletes will compete for medals in four disciplines: Anatoliy Budyak (cycling, road), the Ukrainian women’s team (team sabre), Ilya Kovtun (artistic gymnastics, floor exercise) and Oleg Vernyaev (artistic gymnastics, pommel horse).
The Ukrainian team has won two medals so far and shares 40th place with Kosovo and Turkey. Olga Harlan won a bronze medal in sabre fencing. Sergey Kulish won silver in the 50-meter air rifle three-position event. Another medal for Ukraine was guaranteed by a boxer Alexander Khizhnyak.
