“Wings of the Soviets” and Argentine Godoy Cruz have reached an agreement on the transfer of defender Tomas Galdamez, the press service of the Samara football club reports.
The Chilean footballer has signed a contract with Krylia until the end of the 2026/27 season, the defender will play for the club under the number 3.
“We have done a lot of work and are glad that Thomas has chosen Samara to continue his career. The club will help in every possible way with rapid adaptation, and we are confident that in the near future this will start to benefit our team,” said Krylia Sovetov sports director Sergei Kornilenko.
The 25-year-old is a graduate of the club Union Espanola, for whom he played more than 100 matches. In 2023, Galdamez joined Godoy Cruz, for whom he played 50 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists. Galdamez also made his debut for the Chilean national team at the Copa America in the United States.
