Greek club forward Roman Yaremchuk did not take to the field
Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik debuted for Roma in a friendly match with Olympiakos — 1:1.
The teams exchanged goals in the first half, both times from the penalty spot. First, Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring, and five minutes later, Piraeus defender Rodinei restored the status quo.
Dovbyk came out on the field during the break, playing his first match as part of the Wolves. Let us recall that Artem officially became a player of the Roman club on Friday.
Another Ukrainian, Olympiacos striker Roman Yaremchuk, did not take to the field. The forward became a player of the Piraeus team at the end of July and played in a friendly match with Ternana on Friday (4:0).
Daniele de Rossi’s team finished sixth in the last Serie A. Roma will face Cagliari in the first round of the new season. Olympiacos will play Volos in the first match of the new Greek Super League on August 17.
