On Olympic Games 2024 a set of medals was awarded in individual archery — the gold was won by a representative South Korea Kim Woo Jin.

In a dramatic final against American Brady Ellison, Kim Woo-jin won 6-5 and became a five-time Olympic champion. Kim Woo-jin previously won gold in the team event at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, and in Paris, the 32-year-old athlete has already won three Olympic golds (first place in the team event, first place in the mixed event, and first place in individual shooting).

In the duel for bronze between South Korean Lee Woo-seok and German Florian Unruh, Lee emerged stronger, celebrating a 6:0 victory.

Yesterday, at the 2024 Olympics, Ukraine won its first gold medal — the women’s team won in sabre fencing. The award for the sabre fencers was the third for Ukrainian athletes at the Games in Paris. Earlier Olga Harlan won a bronze medal in sabre fencing. Sergey Kulish won silver in the 50-meter air rifle three-position event. Another medal for Ukraine was guaranteed by a boxer Alexander Khizhnyak.
