Athletistic / Football. Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov reacted to his debut with Paris Saint-Germain. On August 7, the Parisians drew against Austrian Sturm (2-2) in a friendly match.
“The first steps have been taken,” Safonov wrote on his social media page.
Matvey Safonov graduated from Krasnodar. In the 2023/2024 season, the 25-year-old Russian played 30 matches in all tournaments for Krasnodar and missed 27 goals. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 20 million euros.
Safonov helped the Bulls win silver medals in the Russian Championship last season. PSG paid the same 20 million euros for the Russian’s transfer.
