China Women’s Table Tennis Team Wins 2024 Olympic Gold Medals

China beat Japan in final, South Korea won bronze

Following the men’s team and China Women’s Table Tennis Team won gold Olympic Games 2024.

In the final duel, the Chinese faced off against their Japanese rivals. The confrontation consisted of three matches. In the first of them, duets competed, and Chen Meng and Wang Manyu managed to achieve a strong-willed victory 3:2.

Then the athletes from the Celestial Empire proved their superiority in individual fights. Sun Yingsha beat her opponent Miya Hiramo dry (3:0), and Wang Manyu dealt with Miwa Harimoto in a strong-willed style (3:1).

Chen Meng has already won her fourth Olympic medal. In both Tokyo and Paris, she won both the individual and team events. Manyu and Yingsha also won the team event at the 2020 Olympics.

Let us recall that earlier in Paris the Chinese men’s team won gold in the team table tennis tournament.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
