Athletistic/ Football. Barcelona coach Hans-Dieter Flick spoke about the 3-0 defeat to Monaco in the Joan Gamper Cup match.
“In the first minutes we were good, we had chances but we didn’t take them. We weren’t good in speed or passing. We didn’t have the best day, but I’m sure that against Valencia we will play better.
“Today is the day you understand what’s going well and what’s not. We’re going to analyse that and I’m sure we’ll play differently against Valencia. We’re taking care of new players, we’re still in pre-season,” Flick was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
Barcelona failed to win the Gamper Cup for the first time in 12 years.
