Philippe Clément shared his expectations for his team’s crucial home game in qualifying for the tournament.

Rangers did not stop respecting Dynamo after the first match in the third round of Champions League qualification. According to the head coach of the Scottish club, Dynamo is a strong team that is dangerous in set-pieces and counter-attacks.

At the same time, the specialist called on the fans to fill the stadium and give the hosts proper support in the game.

“Hopefully the atmosphere will be like at Ibrox, hopefully the fans will feel more at home like they did at Hampden. We are looking at a game of really equal teams. Dynamo have the advantage of playing longer , but our team last year I played very well tactically this week, but it is not easy with new players.

I’m very happy about it and the goal in the last minute was deserved, so we had more shots on goal than our opponents. Of course, we want this goal to be faster, but the opponent also has a good goalkeeper.

I don’t know how Dynamo will play tomorrow. Maybe they will wait longer, sit more and rely on counterattacks during transitions… I don’t know, but we must be ready for different situations.

They are a good team and we achieved a lot by playing compact and pressing as a team last week, but they are also dangerous from set pieces and very good in transition,” Clement said as quoted by the Rangers website.

We remind you that the match between Rangers and Dynamo will take place today, August 13. The match will start at 21:45 Kyiv time. The first match between the teams ended in a scoring draw.

Earlier, head coach of Kyiv club Alexander Shovkovsky shared his expectations from the match.
