Athletistic / Football. The head coach of the Kazakhstan national team Stanislav Cherchesov commented on the information about his possible appointment as coach of Ludogorets. The day before, on August 15, the Bulgarian media reported this.
“Nobody from Ludogorets has contacted me. But even if they have contacted me now, my thoughts are now occupied with something completely different. I am preparing for the first match of the Kazakhstan national team in the Nations League. I recommend everyone to maintain information hygiene,” Cherchesov told “Sport Express”.
The Bulgarian newspaper “24 Hours” published information that Stanislav Cherchesov went to Razgrad on Thursday to negotiate with the management of Ludogorets and become the head coach of the current Bulgarian champion in the future.
On August 13, Ludogorets dismissed Georgi Dermendzhiev from the position of head coach. This happened after the Bulgarian club’s humiliating defeat in the second leg of the Champions League qualifier against Azerbaijani Qarabag (2:7).
