Athletistic / Football. Spartak Moscow head coach Dejan Stankovic has agreed to release defender Alexis Duarte. The 24-year-old Paraguayan is set to move to Valencia.
As reported by Sport-Express, Duarte does not fit into Stankovic’s playing model, so the Serbian will not create obstacles to his transfer to Spain and is ready to part ways with the footballer.
The day before, on August 15, the media had announced that Valencia, in the person of Duarte, was seeing a replacement for Cenk Ozkajar, who was going to be loaned to Real Valladolid.
Alexis Duarte became a Spartak player in January 2023. His contract with the Russian club runs until June 30, 2027. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the Paraguayan’s market value at 3.5 million euros.
