Bournemouth have signed Porto forward Evanilson in what is a record transfer in the club’s history

Cherries have decided on a replacement for Dominic Solanke who left for Tottenham

Bournemouth announced the transfer of the striker Port Evanilson.

The terms of the agreement between the parties are not disclosed. The forward will play under number 9 in the Bournemouth squad. In the Vishen squad, Evanilson should replace Dominic Solanke, who moved to Tottenham.

Bournemouth say the transfer is the club’s highest in terms of value. According to media reports, Bournemouth paid Porto €47 million for the 24-year-old Brazilian.

Evanilson played 42 matches for Porto in all competitions last season, scoring 25 goals and providing 7 assists.

In the summer, Evanilson was on the Brazilian national team’s roster for the 2024 Copa America, playing one match (as a substitute in the quarter-final match against Uruguay).

Bournemouth, who feature Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi, open the season on August 17 with a home match against Nottingham Forest.
