The capital team lost to Shakhtar by a narrow margin
Head coach Left Bank Vitaly Pervak commented on the minimal defeat from Shakhtar (0:1) in the third round of the UPL.
“I congratulate Shakhtar on a well-deserved victory. We must thank God and our footballers that we kept the game on edge until the end. And the fact that we didn’t quite succeed is just a matter of work.”
“As one expert said in the UPL TV studio: Left Bank will suffer. That’s what I told the players: we will suffer, but we must squeeze something out of this suffering. It didn’t work out today. We know what we are doing and everything will be fine.”
“As for the first goal, we trust the VAR referees. Everyone can make mistakes, but they are responsible for their work. We can’t score yet. To score, we need to shoot at the goal – which we haven’t been able to do yet. We will do everything to at least start scoring in the next games.”
Left Bank remains the only UPL team that has not yet scored any points or goals. On August 26, the Kievans will host Chornomorets.
