The defender scored an assist in his first match for Dynamo
Defender Dynamo Konstantin Vivcharenko shared his impressions of his debut in the match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League with Fenerbahce. The player also spoke about the preparation of the team for the return match of the third round with Sturm.
“I can’t express the feeling when I came out in the match with Fenerbahce and gave a scoring assist. I have been in Dynamo since the age of 13, I have been moving towards this goal for a very long time.
“It was hard to fall asleep the night after the match, because the emotions were overwhelming. I contacted my family, I was very proud of this moment.”
“You have to train every day, prove that you deserve to play in such a club. Lucescu tells me to do what I can, what the coaching staff wants to see from me.”
“We know how Sturm plays, we analyze, we look at what mistakes we made, which ones should not be repeated. I think we will prepare well and win this match.”
“We are playing for the whole of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, those guys who are on the front line. So we give 100% every game.
I have acquaintances on the front line, in the Kharkov direction. They have been Dynamo fans since childhood, they are very proud of our team, they congratulate us on the victory.”
In the first match, Mircea Lucescu’s team minimally defeated the representative of Austria – 1:0. The second leg will take place on August 9 in Graz. The beginning is at 21:30 Kyiv time.
