Maguchikh won Diamond League gold in Lausanne

The Ukrainian athlete won his first gold after his success at the Paris Olympics.

Yaroslav Maguchikh never stops winning competitions. After his victory at the Paris Olympics, the Ukrainian athlete decided not to stop and won the Diamond League gold in Lausanne.

This time, our athlete didn’t even have to go over two meters tall to win. 1.99 m was enough for victory, the rest of the participants were left far behind.

The Australian Eleanor Patterson, who competed with the Ukrainian at this point, remained second. Nicola Olislagers, vice-champion of the Olympic Games in Paris, won bronze. Another Ukrainian, Irina Gerashchenko, took fifth place.
