Dovbyk’s new teammate is the first Saudi Arabian in the history of the Giallorossi
Roma officially announced the signing of the Saudi defender Sauda Abdulhamidtransferred from Al-Hilal.
The details of the transfer are not disclosed. It is known that the player has transferred on a permanent basis. According to Transfermarkt, the compensation amounted to 2.5 million euros.
Saud, 25, who can play on either side of the defence, took the No 12 shirt, becoming the first Saudi Arabian to play for Roma.
Recall that earlier it was reported that Al-Hilal was ready to let Abdulhamid go to the club from the capital of Italy as soon as he signed Joao Cancelo from Manchester City. And so it happened.
Roma, for whom Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk has been playing since this season, had an unsuccessful start: a draw with Cagliari (0:0), a home defeat to Empoli (1:2). On September 1, the Wolves will travel to visit Juventus.
